I’m not a huge fan of AI art and I hope it will never replace real artists BUT in my opinion AI can be used as a base for pictures. For example, I’m not good at drawing backrounds but I used Midjourney and generated bg for this picture

i go a little further than that where i don't even reuse the base colors
every time i draw an oc i just eyeball the colors every time, though that also leads to a bit on inconsistency
