Morning, Happy Monday! I’ve started on this lovely pair today as well as two dog portrait commissions. (one is a birthday surprise in May) I always start my paintings off with watered down Acrylic. I work quickly creating a tonal under painting and establishing a good composition

The wonderful ‘Sun and Rain over St Michael’s Mount’ by will hopefully bring a little bit of a lift to your Monday.
I love how the details in this composition are at the edges of the frame, including St Michael’s Mount which is being deluged by a passing shower.
