@coucyi Oh man. I don’t really have a traditional art background (aka I don’t know shit about shot) BUT some artists that I like are Max Earnst, Edward Gorey and Gary Larson. Probably my heaviest inspiration even if I don’t particularly want to emulate that style.
Lt Edward Little, Mr Thomas Jopson and Lt John Irving. Inspired by AMC's The Terror. This was a quicker, fun doodle of Victorian sailors. I like drawing these three together and I wish they had had more screen time together. Irving looks so cute clutching his little bible.
Yo de yo y yo de Edward.
Mañana quiero probar a ponerme el cosplay y hacer make up test. https://t.co/pMVMoCdhat
@mrjamesmayhew 1st one is Cheryl Harness in The Night Before Christmas. 2nd is Nancy Edwards Calder in Margaret Wise Brown's On Christmas Eve. My grown girls have the books now so I couldn't take pics! These are what I found online. #BookIllustrationOfTheDayBirthday2

In a shocking twist of events.... melodrama over comedy?? We out here giving Bella and Edward genuine romantic believability in 2020. Let them just be in love!
One more #BookIllustrationOfTheDayBirthday2 before bed. Meet ‘Old Perisher’, the naughty cat of Corporation Gardens. Written by Diana Ross and published by Faber in 1965.
Illustrations of course by #edwardardizzone @mrjamesmayhew
I thought I’d kick off my contributions to #BookIllustrationOfTheDayBirthday2 for @mrjamesmayhew with some wonderful #edwardardizzone Little Tim and the Brave Sea Captain - from a 2nd printing (1936). Beautiful colour reproduction in this ed.
