Never compare your art to anyone else's but your own, if you can look back and see even an inch of improvement from a week, month, or even a year ago, that's all that matters and you should be immensely proud 💕

Had to draw something for my favorite anime
Only took me a month of procrastinating LMFAO
A lot of improvements i could have made but i honestly just got tired of working in the same canvas for so long. Also using ibis paints for the first time so it felt a bit awkward

#SkillNotTalent 2020 vs 2022
Sadly I only have a drawing of 2020 right now! But you can see my improvement very good! :D
(Btw I‘ve been drawing since 2016/2017)
2013 vs 2022
I think after a while, it’s not about dramatically improving skills, but getting more comfortable with your art 😁
#SkillNotTalent 2019 - 2022
Failure and mistakes are key to improvements, giving up is not. 💕
I'm trying to improve my style and I just realized that I like this colorful style more, from now on I will make my page more colorful (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤

Heck even my green-haired menace took years for me to improve drawing!!!
Skill requires hard work. Maybe picking up a pen and drawing comes easier to some more than others, but we don’t just shit out quality content the minute we first start.
Milo got a lot of improvement. The bust in the middle with grey (in the first image) is by my friend @ mothdraws otherwise the rest is by me.
My grumpy boy Casey got some improvement over the years and I’d love to draw him again before this year is over

It’s a passion ever since I was a kid but the grind and the dedication to learn and correct the mistakes is what greatly improves a person’s skill. I’m pretty satisfied with my art now but I always try and aim for something better and you too should be. :)
As it turns out, having a favorite character with a prosthetic arm is great motivation to improve on drawing hands. I made the 1st piece early this year as a reference for myself!
Still have room for improvement, but I really like how I've been doing it lately.
say it with me: your art style will continue to change
i haven't even been drawing for a decade and look at how insane this is
it's fun to learn! it's fun to improve! it's crazy to look back at old art! why deprive yourself of that experience for quick results?
2014 vs 2022 😭💜
It's hard to put into words sometimes how proud I am that I've kept working & improving despite everything

@MegaZarigoldX this is my asian dragon character. Is there anything to improve? like face, or something?
The fact it took me forever to find a drawing from before/during college I hadn't just abandoned that wasn't homework is a testament to how much I've improved.
