I started Children of the Whales today & whewww those first three volumes are some of the most immersive storytelling I have come across in a while. And then there's the art! Oh man, when I tell you art is absolutely breathtaking!
Ankylosaurs are tough to paint because their osteoderms have unique arrangements - for Zuul, every osteoderm was preserved in place, so there's no room for error!
I sculpted a 3D model based on this phenomenal illustration by @MesozoicMuse so I could draw Zuul from any angle
