Nu-maniacs wasn't allowed to branch away from it's original show, but it tried. It really wanted to do what Nu-ducktales got away with and maybe if they did a completely NEW style, I think I'd have been more forgiving of it. New voice actors as well, start over completely.

I think Jenna Coleman was great as the gender swapped Constantine in The Sandman. I could watch a whole season of her like that.

I know Johanna Constantine is a ancestor of John in the comics but this wasn't that. It was great though.
