I’m unsure if you’re already familiar with his works but Taiyo Mastumoto’s “No. 5” is an masterpiece imo and I think you’ll find a lot of inspiration in it. Tekkonkinkreet is incredible as well but also so well known I’m sure you’ve seen it!
