ghibli’s concept art for porco rosso eventually took a slightly different tone, a bit more cheery. I chose reference photos with similar angles to better study the basic principles. my colours could have been lighter but there was a fair amount of YOLO involved, so that’s good.

hadn't drawn girls in a while so. Them. honestly this is just me trying out some new brushes im not very happy w the outcome but yachi looks cute and i love her and i nvr draw her. so. also kiyokos skin was supposed to be a bit lighter this was an accident but she still looksgood

on a lighter note Theodor Kittelsen drew creatures from norwegian folklore and fairytales and is very iconic in norway.
my grandparents had some copies of his work and they just give me good vibes

Improvement! I shifted the hue and saturation of the skin tone to a lighter mauve, now going in with blues for shadow. Much better.

Day 176 of acting like Rean

My black hair is turning white.

I now perform 2 motivational speeches a day.

But I soon discovered that in the eyes of many, Rean & I became one.

So, Rean now carries The Cross of Christ, spreading Enlightened Salvation to all who repent & believe.
