quick example with victor and gloria: the poses have personalities, but the designs aren't as busy as other protags from older gens - fleshing out a character through a pose/facial expression is . a Thing, artistically

Am I the only one who doesn’t actually have a problem with the way the new protagonists were designed, but rather the way their models look in game? Idk it feels like that classic Sugimori charm didn’t really translate over the way they did in previous gens
