I mean Flaming Espinas just seems to be the mainline version of the Espinas Subspecies.
Its just that it and the Rare species dont have names like Azure Rathalos,Fulgar Anjanath or Viper Tobi Kadachi so I guess they just looked at its main gimic and just called it that.

Espinas Rare Species is only seen at the top of the great forest peak, and has mastered the poisonous fire to a T. really fun fight! i hope they add this guy eventually too!! and this guy's weapons have more poison than fire.
