Even after nearly 30 years, there will never be another anime or media like Evangelion. It's truly one of a kind, a multifaceted show about existentialism, depression, generational trauma and mechas all blended into one extremely well written and breathtakingly designed anime.

Watched Evangelion and The End of Evangelion. Very good. Very enjoy.
Last episodes of the series had my brain glazed over but the movie cleared up the loose ends of Shinji's deteriorating psyche.

Altho the colors are much different, Ms Tears line work reminded me of Evangelion. The warrior girl vibe and interplanetary theme connect the two for me. It left me curious to see how an animated Ms Tear might look compared to E.

Gaogaigar is the polar(that’s a pun) opposite of Evangelion. It’s pure heroics, where hotblood is all you need to be victorious. It’s a bit longer, and falls into monster of the week territory, but that’s what makes it fun to me. Hype for people to check it out!
