My brain might just be trying to stylize, but I think the farther wing might look a bit stiffer because it doesn't have as much as an inward curve as the closer wing? The tips of the primaries also look a bit blockier too me. (I redlined the closer wing a bit for comparison)

I actually have a urban fantasy world with 6 'primaries' elements: Earth, Wind, Fire, water, shadow and light. I say primary because these elements can be mixed and match.

Example: My OC Leela Ye wields Night Fire (Shadow/Fire)
Xifeng: Earth/Wind (Electro) with a dash of Light

Kaala's design change for 2021, I'm switching the secondary wings the design was nice for a time but it really makes it hard to look pleasing with her primaries. They still have the insect gossamer texture but are shaped more avian now.

Doing drawing and while it may be a little overdone to use eagle wings, I can kind of see Uriel with them.

I'm mostly thinking of how the primaries can look impressive when they fan out. Something I tried back when I figured "screw it, Draknir like bird wings now"
