what's the point of this schizo post? I guess it gives off different perspective to the actual lore vs pop fic of it.

Like one could paint the king actually having good intention but fails due to his own flaws, or rethinking Daji's/Tammy's real motives (esp in her JP sequel)

Fengshen Yanyi could be seen as a guy coping with the king being too modern for his time, gets salty and paint him as a playboy creep and the girls being "ha w*men" corrupt b1tches.

Sounds like a nasty guy isn't he? Until I read the wiki page for the king's actual historical record.

Apparently he was pretty modern for his time and had girls run the court. In a time where guys were like "ha w*men" and forbids them to do anything but baby mill+ being pretty

Karuma Project related. I was reading stories chapters about Tamamo no Mae's original series, Fengshen Yanyi.

Basically Daji (The real Tammy) does evil things with her king in said chapter and of course gets executed, with Tammy being the "what-if she survived-JP adaptation"
