Another gameplay preview from some of the assets I was painting recently :) this is the Grove, which is where you start the game at night. You also get to see these during the daytime as well.

Testing out the colouring progress on this short section of the final idle animation. There’s 220 frames to this in total, and about 100 of them are hand painted individually in Photoshop and then recalibrated in TVPaint.

So I thought I’d join in with the tag and say hi :) so - Hi, my name is Ella and run an indie game studio where we make hand-painted video games 💜 our first full length platformer, Lunafon: Tales of the Moon Oak, is half way through development at the moment :)

As we’ve only got two more of Lunie’s animation cycles left to do, I’ve been busy working on the final character sheets for our voice actors. Here’s a part rendered Granny Elder WIP. Next up is Raggety, who gets two sheets!

Meet Raggety, our Lunie’s companion! He’s one of my favourite characters to draw, and was inspired by my brother :D he is also being voiced by the amazingly talented and funny !
