ソウルキャリバー2、アーケード版はプレイするたびに筐体に記憶された自分のキャラが成長するからアホほど遊んでました。

家庭用PS2版はバグなのかオープニングデモで必ずフリーズする場面あった記憶…たしか平八の部分だったかな？

Aside from Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy games, I'd pick (but not limit it to) these four PS2 games cause Squeenix absolutely rocked during that console generation. Some incredibly experimental, cool, and interesting Action/Platformer/RPGs.
