I really don't get the hate, it was fresh & different, but still kept several core values of RE.

The sets were immaculate, they made the RPD and Spencer Mansion so claustrophobic, all with what seemed a limited budget.

Incoming Twitter rant on Resident Evil I liked it. A rough start to a better trend of RE adaptation. Could it have been better and more faithful yes, but I feel like it did what it had to…be better than Anderson films…and it did.

I went into WTRC knowing that they were gonna combine 1 & 2 together & that major liberties would be taken with the characters & story because of it. That being said, I still enjoyed it for what it was: a fun, action/horror popcorn flick. 🍿

Even with it's faults is easily the best film yet. I hope fans support just so we get more faithful adaptions like this and less like Resident Milla.
