these 3 visual novels have really made an impact on me. Muv Luv, Dies Irae, and Subahibi all deserve a huge shoutout too, but these 3 in particular are stories that i think about every day.

i feel like muramasa or mahoyo might join these ranks when i read one of them

The experimentation of Subahibi can oftentimes be to its detriment, but I absolutely adore its core themes and moments of genuine emotional catharsis.
It's a one of a kind work with many flaws and problematic elements, despite this I return.
There's a power to that.
