I wasn’t planning on watching this yesterday, and I sadly wasn’t impressed. While the premise was intriguing. The delivery fell short for me. Poor world building and badly resolved plots made the character growth feel empty. As the kids say, this is mid.

My worst nightmare is coming true XD this egregious isekai got confirmed for a 3rd season. At first, I enjoyed hate watching this for the griefer aspect. Now, I think it’s going to genuinely hurt. Please don’t be too terrible…

I could have sworn just yesterday they announced this was coming out later this year. What happened? 🤣 also, I hear the story and art are both pretty bland. I’m not feeling too good about this title anymore.

Total disaster. The concept was somewhat interesting, but everything was handled in such an aimless manner. No drive. No passion. Ending was abysmal. Things just randomly happen. After finding out this was based on a video game, all became clear. This was a cash grab.

A very delightful surprise. This isekai is very much by the books, but very well read in its execution. It didn’t meander or convolute itself along the way. It did what I wanted it to do, and very well.

The first in my hiatus marathon was a pretty run of the mill isekai that took a little too much influence from that time I got reincarnated as a slime. If you love that title, you’ll enjoy this one a fair a amount. A good time, but not a great time.

This is better than Deathnote.

I'm not kidding. Unlike the prior which dragged for an additional dozen episodes we didn't need, this series captured its message in a far more brisk 24 episodes. What a message this was...the story centers around humans on the brink of (1/x)

A pretty impressive in a much needed genre. I will say that while I really enjoyed the gritty and dystopian narrative, the choppy pacing left a lot to be desired. In particular, the lack of character development toward the end.

I don’t often enjoy prequels, but this was fantastic. We see so much of Tohru’s mother in Fruits Basket, while also learning of her father. A tragic, but captivating love story. A shame the first 30 minutes are just recaps from the earlier seasons.
