The wars of the Ottoman Empire were a close runner-up to the Arab conquests for my Top 10 Wars of History

All of Gaul? Well except for one famous Gaulish village. Indeed, Asterix comics were my original source of knowledge for Caesar's Gallic Wars - they made frequent references to Caesar's defeat of Vercingetorix at Alesia
