I love the fact that Stories chose a cell-shaded artstyle, despite how realistic Monster Hunter's world is. And it also surprised me that Stories got a sequel of all the games Capcom chose to give a sequel to.

As someone who has never fought Barioth in any MH games that I have owned (until Rise), HOLY FUCK is this thing a beast to fight! Barioth is definitively going in the Monster Chads tier list once it's updated.

That being said, one neat thing about the manga is how the Pokemon are drawn in here. They look like the opposite of what DP did, making them look like real life monsters instead of Pokemon with real life textures applied to them.

Kind of went back and forth as to whether or not I should show it, but then I said "Fuck it". So, here's another WIP.
