Rescue Academia, an original Mecha anime by Studio Gaina, is set to be released in 2021.

The anime is being made to promote Fukushima's "Innovation Coast" initiative that aims to revive industry & tourism in the region after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

Sacks & Guns!!, a mecha anime by Studio Satelight, will be released in 2021.

It is based on "Sakugan Labyrinth Marker", a sci-fi/robot novel by Nekotaro Inui, that was the runner-up in the Project Anima competition in 2018 & earned the opportunity to be a full-fledged anime.
