That fiasco at the Pokéball factory was a chaotic episode but a very effective attempt on Team Rocket's behalf. Plus I don't recall the last time I saw Meowth so motivated.
Mind if I give an opinion: I prefer the execution of the Flying Kipper in the TV episode moreso than the original book version storywise. Two reasons factor into this. 1. There is very little chance that the goods train crew would survive being inside a break van that's being...
City of Truro - Such a splendid character in the books, hate how his role got butchered in the TV series. Love his facial design in the annuals and coloring books, hate his facial design in the magazines.
Duck - I rather like his demeanor and his character. I feel like I can relate to him somewhat. Sure his Great Western trope got a bit tired quickly in the CGI series but still that doesn't make me hate him, unlike some other people in the fandom who can't tolerate much.
The roles of the thieves left much to be desired. How did they find out about Diancie? What are their motivations to get diamonds from Diancie? What are their relationships with each other seeing as how they're familiar as rivals yet two of them marry at the end? I'm confused.
It's a double Pokemon feature this weekend as I also watched Diance and the Cocoon of Destruction.
Also, can we talk about how Serena and Fennekin took down the Team Rocket Balloon like a P-51 Mustang? Seriously, how come no one talks about this? Serena just tactically took down Team Rocket on first shot and first time flying with her Fennekin on her arm! What a champ!
In searching for images for my favorite shows collage, I happened upon a slew of poster concepts for Aladdin by John Alvin and I gotta say: these are my favorite pieces of advertising visuals that I've seen. They're just so enchanting.
