Illustrated my version of the Witcher 3 Echinops. I used the real Echinops plant as inspiration for this one.

They are described as: "monstrous plants born of curses which grow in places where terrible crimes have been committed if the crime in question was never atoned for"...

Mythology Series #14 - The Cherufe, large man-eating mythical creature of Mapuche religion. Made of rock, crystals and magma, it is said to inhibits Volcanoes and to be responsible for their erruptions. The only way to calm it down is to throw virgin maidens in the volcano o_o .

Mythology Series #11-The Heinzelmännchen, house gnomes of German folklore. Have done the work of Cologne's citizens at night so they may be lazy, until one of them wanted to spot a gnome, and made it slip and fall. The gnomes got angry and left the citizens to work for themselves

Mythology Series #10 - The Bakunawa, a serpent-like dragon of Philippine mythology. Is usually Depicted with a looped tale and a single horn on the nose and is believed to be the cause of eclipses, earthquakes, rains, and wind. ⁠

Mythology Series #9 - The golem, animated anthropomorphic being of Jewish folklore. In some tales is inscribed with Hebrew words such as the word "emet" (Truth) on it's forehead. To deactivate it you need to erase the first letter and the word changes to "met" (Dead).

Mythology Series #6 - Samodiva, woodland fairies\nymphs of South and West Slavic folklore. In Bulgarian folklore, a Samodiva's close connection to the forest makes her able to cure all illnesses, which in this case really helps the young deer which was in trouble.

Mythology Series #5 - Cipactli, a primeval sea monster of Aztec mythology. Part Crocodile, part fish and part toad\frog this creature had a mouth on every joint and it is always hungry o_o

Mythology Series #2 - Leshy, the forest spirit in Slavic mythology.
I have tried capturing Leshy's good side because it is said he also takes children who were cursed by their parents so they could live with the forest people, which had to have bears in it imo ;) .

Here is the finished refined community painting from last week's stream :D The hunted castle of baron edmond the pepe. Each creature is a person from the original birthday stream that i painted in , was fun!
