Oh yeah I painted for the first time in ages too and tried another method today. Just the regular pen at 80 some opacity makes a world of difference

15. Honestly? Ironically? River and Sage tie for this lol. It's because they were conceived as a couple first before they began to develop. They're getting there! But not as quickly as my other characters.

12. Raph (left) qualifies because in some universes, he's undead and in some he's alive. But if I willfully decided an OC was to die, Annie's father has died before and it's something that, should their story call for it, I carry over.

10. OOHHh a Villain, I have exactly one and his name is Gestahlt - he's Sage's older brother. He's still a work in progress but last I touched on him, he was a Melmetal and in other settings, a Changling like Sage.

9. Ipswitch who, despite her elegance, eats bugs and mushrooms without reservation and gets into dimension breaking levels of trouble. But she's the best teacher ever.
