I can't say if it was challenging drawing almost every visual asset for the VN, but I remember consistently putting numerous hours every day into completing something. On top of that, I had to convey my ideas and communicate with my programmer and writer often.
Here are some mockups and design notes I put together during development. I'm awful with words so I thought putting it together visually would help convey my ideas better. It was challenging being the director of things.
