The Avengers: Infinity War (Marvel) we know that Hollywood borrows plenty of ideas from the anime world, who's to say one of the biggest movies ever wasn't inspired by The Eclipse?

Castlevania (Konami) the striking resemblance between Alucard and Griffith also can't be ignored. They even have a similar mild mannered (for the most part) demeanour.

Devil May Cry (Capcom) Aside from the dark story which includes the underworld as well as demons, there is a striking resemblance between the red orbs in DMC and the Behelit.

Drakengard (Square Enix) Caim is said to be loosely based off Guts with Zero's Flower Eye and Prosthetic Arm mirroring the right eye and left arm lost by Guts.

Soul Calibur (Namco). Seigfried the main protagonist of the series has a lot of similarities with guts. Not only with his sword Requiem, but also with his transformation into Nightmare that mirrors Guts' transformation in Berserker Armour.

One Piece. Though unconfirmed, there are a lot of similarities between Guts and Zoro. Both having seemingly being orphaned early in age, both having extreme power and pain thresholds as well as the both of them sharing a reserved and withdrawn personality.

Final Fantasy (Square Enix) Guts' iconic sword The Dragon Slayer seemingly influenced a trope of exaggeratedly large buster swords which can most popularly be seen used by Cloud Strife in FFVII. A homage was paid by Final Fantasy XIV players today paying respect to Miura's death.
