In various levels, you can find a couple of small cameo appearances of our little friend Luigi (though the tile art is slightly inaccurate).

Unused Fighter - Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Within the game's files, there's a file indicating an unused fighter dubbed as "Retro Luigi", being a unique retro rep animated purely by sprites.

He was going to replace Mr. G&W initially, but was scrapped after much reconsideration.

Intro Cutscene - Hotel Mario

This was going to be an easter egg within the game that happens if your CD-i's date was set to Sep. 13 1985. It was cut from the final for initially scaring kids and it also wasn't a valid date to be set on a stock CD-i.
