I don't think Aquaman likes jokes about him and fish.
Also, why do many superhuman prisons allow the bloody villains to keep their costumes?
The smarmy, creepy Bruce Wayne is creepy.
Also, great facial expressions from Pajarillo.
Oof. I know this was played for laughs, but this kind of thing would be going way too far these days. Plastic Man would be turfed. Rightly so.
This is another somewhat tie-in to the new status of Gotham City in No Man's Land, but also an interesting play on this volume of JLA's own history.
I've never read JLA: Year One, from Waid, Brian Augustyn, Barry Kitson, Garrahy, and Lopez. It was a 12 issue series that ran concurrent with JLA in '98. Maybe I should grab it and read it.
Though I do have to love Jakeem's solution AND Kyle's idea for an end to a colour war being to mix the colours.
The travels through the 5th Dimension, though, are very neat. Great artwork here from Porter, Dell, and Garrahy taking advantage of the oddity of this plane beyond our normal 3 dimensions and beyond time.
The Spectre situations leaves Zaurial and Sentinel in such an awkward predicament. Let the people live and everyone dies, or kill them to potentially save the universe with the Spectre.
