I'm not sure from where, but getting hit by flying newspapers like this reminds me of something.
It's an interesting change of tone as to how much humour there is in this story. Waid taking a different route than Morrison's more restrained humour.
Epoch's plan feels like a nightmare. I'm pretty sure that everyone that saw Superman III has had this one.
As does Void. You'd think that more superhero team-ups would forego that "misunderstanding brawl" trope at this point.
Nice nods to DC history through the battles, and Batman delivering some deadpan jokes.
JLA/WildCATs by Grant Morrison, Val Semeiks, Kevin Conrad, Ray Kryssing, Pat Garrahy, Digital Chameleon, and Ken Lopez gives us an epic inter-company crossover between DC and Image as the two teams face off against the destruction of existence and Epoch.
