I earned this 😊. Before I had surgery my oven broke just as I had mixed together ingredients for biscuits to have with my strawberry shortcake. I’d been dreaming about this for years, made like grandma, eastern roots. I’m having seconds ! Feeling about 6yrs old now, memories. ..

It is soo hard for me to make the transition between summer & winter but I’m getting there 😊 Starting to remember how much I love to cook/bake while watching winter birds.

I’ve been sick with a relentless virus & have been resting at home recently. A prairie sunset from my husband last week & and today’s frigid sunrise at -24c from my sons blind. I love that they think of me at such a special time of day 😊❤️🇨🇦❄️

Before the storm(non severe here) rolled in tonight my husband did a little fishing while I checked for Saskatoon berries I didn’t think would be ready. Enough for muffins tomorrow. Just beginning. I got distracted, particularly yellow #birds
