I'm really enjoying this Square Enix smattering of smaller budget title releases. I'll always prefer lots of a variety and new concepts to one multi-million dollar, highly polished project per decade. Sure these titles do not all live up to the hype, but they're so nice to have!

I know I said I was going offline to avoid Xenoblade 3 spoilers but I thought I'd say this brief window of time before the game releases on Friday has been very pleasant because I just put a few more hours into AI: The Somnium Files and it keeps getting better! BUY THIS GAME!

Ys 8 is the perfect videogame to prescribe to people who have fallen out of love with gaming. It's got that amazing sense of adventure without the open world nonsense, fun combat, excellent music, and likeable cast members! Easy to learn and hard to put down once you're flowing.

If I had any talent for game design I'd likely be attempting to make a .hack fan remake/remaster right now. The focus would be on recreating the feel of the IMOQ games' combat but with modern tweaks. Maybe giving players more customization of Kite would be interesting?

Fire Emblem 3 Hopes is such a good follow up to 3 Houses! I loved the original, but couldn't help but wonder, "What if this was an action combat game?". Not only that, but seeing even more great Support convos is such a blast! Play the demo NOW! I'm addicted to it xD

This design is so creepy and cool! I cannot wait to actually figure out what the deal is with Tri-edge in the game!

Last thing to say for now, the character Ovan SCREAMS Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7 to me. He's mysterious, drops philosophical quotes out of nowhere, acts as a "good guy" despite us not entirely knowing his motivations. I can see him being the big bad, or the hero of this

Watching .hack//Roots! My impressions based on 2 episodes are positive. The World feels different yet familiar to Sign, the soundtrack is certainly going for a new hiphop sound at times, and the characters seemingly all have very fleshed out motivations! Can't wait to watch more!
