i downloaded a full archive of a ton of a hat in time related images so i'll just post some here from very early builds of the game

here are some early concept designs of Hat Kid, as well as an early model used in a very early prototype.

Thor the Inventor was a cut character who would've given you the Sandmobile in the cut Sand n' Sails chapter. He worked for the Mafia and invented several robots such as some janitors who showed up at night and a shark which would have prevented you from going too far out to sea.

In the attic of Queen Vanessa's manor if you use the dweller's mask you can see an outline of Razputin from Psychonauts.

this is the earliest known design for Mustache Girl. She bears a striking resemblance to the Pringles man. That is not relevant I just thought it was funny.
