The legendary Morris “Morrie” Turner was born OTD in 1923. Best known for WEE PALS—the first integrated comic strip—Morrie left behind a body of work which celebrated inclusivity, acceptance, and love. We clearly still have much to learn from him.

Reviewing my older animated series pitches, I'm inclined to reintroduce some of the rubberhose aesthetics on which I appeared to so keen at the time.
I was reminded today of this design requested by my brother-in-law Brian for our beloved sister-in-law's memorial on this day in 2018. She was affectionately referred to as "Nurse Rainbow" by her colleagues and patients.
