For the unfamiliar: ceratopsid reconstructions often misplace the earholes into the laterotemporal fenestra. The correct position is the space between the quadrate and the depressor mandibulae. This diagram by @Sketchy_raptor is a good reference. Photo by me.
Not so much for Chasmosaurus and Pachyrhinosaurus (which has generated heated discourse elsewhere for other issues): their earholes are on the dorsal side of the frill.
Bianchengichthys micros, a new maxillate placoderm from southern China described by @ZhuEarlyFishLab. It, along with a few other placoderms, suggests that the origin of all eugnathostomes might be from Vietnam and southern China.
