Spores spread disease, so if you can block spore formation in #cdiff, you could reduce infections & keep it from coming back…

It grows when #antibiotics kill good gut bacteria & keeps coming back. It doesn't like oxygen, so outside the gut, it goes into a dormant form, called spores. #anaerobe
