After that it's time to bring in the flood of effects ✨❄️
I painted the blue eye to look illuminated.. i tried
blurred the stuff that's further away for the macro blur look
Also I shaved a bit of the face shape during painting for that ikemen look
(Gradient map to save my life)
Now it's onto the fun(?) part: painting ✨
This took the most amount of time because it's been eons since I painted anything
Hair took the longest time
Collarbone area almost as-is bc seggsy
Used dense, watercolor, and smooth brush (basic CSP brushes)
Also this was one layer 😵💫
Using the painted layer as a base, I overlayed the colors of the character on top (skin, hair colors, etc)
I have no idea what I was doing but as long as it looks good amirite
(At this stage though, I should have also laid out skin tone variations like oranges, blush, etc)
This was an experiment to see if I can use the 3D model on CSP to sketch lighting & pose faster
I used the basic 3d model (edited proportions and turned off guide line) & added two lighting sources
Then I sketched on top of it and then painted in with the colors from the 3D base
Anyone wanna help me with lore story stuff & bounce ideas together
