i can't find the actual post with the image I used for reference (assuming its very old but even reverse image search didnt pull anything strangely) but to the best of my knowledge it was by @jtangc - they make some seriously impressive pixelart

ive gone through several eye colors for Blaze over the years and I gotta say I'm really loving "just a little pink", this might be where it stays

I sure love this phase of art where I feel like I'm rapidly improving, boy I sure wish I could stay in this state forever

I've always wanted to try my hand at a much more bold and colorful style, and I think this is pretty dang alright for a first shot

yeah sure ill throw my hat in the #faceyourart ring - it hurts seeing some of the older rougher work next to more recent stuff but that just means growth so I'm putting em in there (also working on game assets means never drawing front-on a day in my life)

first time wrangling with fonts in java, that was a... process, but it feels good now that I have a text handler class sorts out wordwrap and horizontal+vertical alignment all at once
