Personality-wise, Garma is overly eager to live up to his family name. He often speaks of impressing his sister Kycilia. He is naive, and because of that can come off as arrogant. While he seems to enjoy being the center of attention, it makes him nervous at times.

Garma performed marginally in physical training, but excelled in his academics. Ultimately, Garma became a fairly decent commander despite his flaws. Still, he would continue to feel he was living in the shadow of his friend Char.
