I love THE FINAL GIRLS (2015). Sure, it’s a tad too stylish for its own good. But the film is 110% heart. A meta slasher that has, on multiple occasions, left me a blubbering mess by the time the credits roll. Kind of like THE PURPLE ROSE OF CAIRO meets FRIDAY THE 13th Part VI.
