I always knew Jiangshi was very popular in Japan, but I never realized why. I guess it's because Jiangshi looks like a Yokai? I can definitely see Jiangshi being part of Hyakki Yagyō.
What? Rushia? I have no idea what you are talking about.

In 2020, there were no fewer than 4 Mulan movies released in China, likely intended to capitalize on the predicted success of the Disney remake.
They all suck, but so is the Disney remake. So, it's only fair.
With a new Makoto Shinkai movie announced, we got a look at the teaser poster.
And I have to say...
Dude your posters all look the same.

Recently, an indie publisher approached us with a Chinese comic book. But sponsorship fell through.
They are on Kickstarter to keep the project going. With its theme and art, I just had to help out a little.
If this looks interesting, go check it out.

Ah yes. #Mulan posters.
America loves the heroic action pose.
Korea loves the big head split design.
Japan loves the manga cover composition.
China loves to make me question my life choices.
I always believe the best way to become a better person, is to learn about foreign culture.
These two games are made in the East, about Eastern mythologies. Yet, they transcended cultural barriers. They are loved by people East and West.
Haven't feel this hopeful since January.
