I’ve only ever done this age meme with Xei and Vera (weirdly the most stable couple). With my other characters I didn’t know if it would be spoilers to show they didn’t live past a certain age, or even they don’t know what their 80s will be like yet—which is fair.

@ChihiroHowe @MattCarbz When I saw how much action there was in the story, I really wanted to see more deep dramatic blacks and intense colour contrast to feel the thick and evil tension in some scenes. The colour palette sometimes feels like a limitation to convey the seriousness.
@ChihiroHowe @MattCarbz I hope this isn’t rude to apply a filter, because I love your work, but I love how Corliss pops out in black and white. The red is kind of distracting in the colour version, and draws your eye to Snow because of her dress.
@ChihiroHowe Most colour comics out there lack harmony with their colours. Each colour kinda exists independently. So that’s why I get people who prefer black and white. On the left, the base colours and shading are added. On the right, an additional lighting and texture that ties it together
Kevin unlearned the association of dog being an insult, and wanted to be showered with affection the way Andrew adores every dog he sees. It was healing for him to watch Andrew raise Coco with compassion, because it was such a contrast to how he was raised.
Meanwhile Andrew has always had at least one dog in his life. His grandpa’s dog was Peanut, then he got a puppy he named Hazel, and after Hazel passed away he went without a dog for about a year, until Kevin got him another puppy, Coco, and later Kevin himself adopted Maca.
