I remember being told once that when people look at my work, they feel the sadness from it. But it’s comforting. Someone else feels these same emotions. I felt very happy about that. In that comment, I felt very seen in my work.
I’m definitely into the emotions for sure, but I feel like that’s what I specialize in. I see a lot of happy work at cons, but I want some work to reflect how I feel.
