GUESS WHO SAW DETECTIVE PIKACHU! The 10-year old in me FREAKED at Mewtwo in this film. I do recommend the film. Mewtwo is fantastic and perfect and aaaaaaaaa!…. still my favourite Pokémon ever. Feels like SO LONG since I drew Mewtwo and it feels good man. #mewtwo

Inktober day 25 - Prickly.
I’ve often been described as ‘Prickly’ by people who try to force themselves into my social bubble. I often wish I had quills or spikes- something that would flex show that I want people to back off slightly.

Inktober day 19- Scorched. I was watching ‘ David Attenborough’s Natural Curiosities’ the other day and he was discussing the theory that the
legend of the phoenix came from flamingos. So here is moltres the legendary fire bird of pokemon looking more akin to a flamingo.

Inktober day 14: Clock. This creature is actually something I saw in a dream and I hastily scribbled down a few years ago (see b/w doodle). I seem to remember it being made of a marble-like texture and I tried to get that across. I need to do more of this guy!

Inktober day 9: precious
So here is a VERY old chracter of mine. When I was little I often drew her with this ‘flower’ encased in a bubble. I like the idea of the flower either being tied directly to her life or the flower being the last relic of a destroyed home world.

There is my girl Agnus the hairy angler fish (and her husbands Clarence and Horrace) whom I’ve often drawn. I had to draw her for Mermay with a new deep sea BBF: Glenda the gulper eel! I don’t think I've done Glenda’s mouth nearly big enough. next year: BIGGER. #mermay #art

Vampire squid! Cute shy girl. I tried to show off the ‘underside’ of a vampire squid by doing her in that classic Marilyn Monroe pose when she’s over the vent? Bit hard to bring across when your character has no (or actually too many) legs. Her mouth is there. 8D #mermay #art

Iiiiit’s Mermay! Had to do a few drawings as I enjoyed myself last year. Have a hag fish mermaid. I did one last year but I felt I didn’t get the mouth quite right, so I've tried for a more ‘lacks lower teeth’. I do love hag fish, even if not true fish. #mermay
