Inktober 52 2021 - Week 30 - 'Ink'

What else but cephalopod ink! Woosh!

I'm pleased with how this came out despite how simple it is.

I also spent far too much of this week playing with colours as my ideas for typing changed.
I wanted to try and keep a striking yellow-orange belly and spots like it's real life counterparts. I also gave an 'eye' pattern round their horns to play on the old 'eye of newt' thing.

HALP I NEED A GOOD NAME FOR THESE GUYS.
This week's word it newt, and I made a newt fakemon. Based a bit on our UK newts, specifically the great crested. Males of this species for this crest and white stripe on their tails during mating season.

X-ray grinning worm! I was going to make it sharper, but I actually liked how it's blurred anatomy made it look more like a deep sea creature.

Inktober 52 2021 - Week 15 - ‘Star’

Koosh visits the star king for some tips. But I think they have very different ideas as to what a 'star' is. His look a little fleshy and like to be in water.

Creature is based on a little doodle I did a few years back.

I've been playing Pokémon Masters, and I really thought this whole scene with Cyrus and Sophocles becoming short-term friends over their love of machinery and Rotoms was very sweet. I wonder if this factor will come into the sinnoh remakes at all.
