Savoring these 4 new SUMMER CAMP ISLAND eps, one at a time, though they're a serialized origin story for Susie and Ramona (and perhaps the island itself?). First is beautiful. Industrialization pushing magic out of the world. Nearly a joke in every frame but still touching. A+

After a week+ of "let's hold onto this one last episode" finished the #hbomax season of SUMMER CAMP ISLAND last night. A gentle, Oscar-centric episode with nice thematics about being a support system for your friends.

Though my @SeverinFilms Al Adamson box is still in transit, my replacement disc arrived today. Technically I could start enjoying now, but *how* will I be able to place BLAZING STEWARDESSES in its proper context if I haven’t first revisited PSYCHO A-GO-GO?
