A commission for my cousin @LisaNMichaud of her DnD party; sent her some palette variations, since that is easy to do on collage pieces like this. RPG characters seem to be the only commissions I do now; really enjoy the design aspect of it.
Happy #MayThe4thBeWithYou everyone! No time to make anything new, but here are some oldies. :)
Here's a couple of fun transformations from today's update. The end draweth nigh!
@MagsVisaggs Surprised no one has mentioned Frank Frazetta. Very silver age, very funky sci fi stuff.
@SaraAlfageeh *raises eyebrows*
Well then...

@madalyn_mcleod @corygodbey Same problem. My solution is to pencil first, then paint with gouache, and do the inking last. Not perfect, but you might dig it.
The Big finale! Action and Romance, what more could you ask for? :)

"Should I use a realistic setting, or make something up?"
I tend to answer this question with the latter. Come read Cloudbreak; it's exciting and sweet and queer and oddly Victorian in fashion:

@TheJesseSands @0xMatt @ZackFinfrock This is my last D&D comish; $75USD, I usually ask for half up front, half after final delivery. Price can change based on color, full body, environments, etc. I also send my clients sketches and involve them in the design process, so we're all happy with the result.
