i've been trying to get better at more graphic styles more in line with hatching and raw line art rather than the more painting esque stuff that i've usualy been making. i'm pretty happy with this result, though i fucked up the belt buckle
thought i'd share the rough concept for a silksong boss i submited to this competition last summer. pretty happy with it, especially the visuals

so one of my friends once chalenged me to take the skeleton of an animal and redraw it in the same way some palio artists tend to vacuum wrap their interpretations of fosils
safe to say it took her a while to figure out what it actually was hehe
