Me and @cyborgkale are starting to get some images ready for #Kaijune so hope you're all prepped for more Kaiju Family goodness!

The Genki Twins are a reference to the Shobijin. Idea being their Goddess died long ago and imbued them with her power. It's the reason why they have a humanoid build. They still try to carry out her wish of having Kaiju make peace with humanity.

No, Big Mama is NOT meant to be a Godzilla stand-in for Kaiju Dayz. I actually got the idea for her from Skullcrawlers in Kong Skull Island (that's another story). There isn't a Godzilla-tier (King of the Monsters type) character in any of my concepts currently.

The first sketch @Gillyaart did of Beaut compared to her final design. Originally her mouthpiece was only going to come out when in 'battle mode'. It eventually stuck around in later pieces, we figured she looked cuter with it on 24/7 Optimus Prime-style.

Okay, you find a way to hug that #kaiju without dying and get back to me. I wanna see the results...

It's a fun thought that Big Mama used to pretty herself up a bit before rampages. All those helicopters recording so you gotta make sure they get the good side!

Looking into how the sound effect for #Godzilla's atomic breath was made. Trying to get ideas for the sounds I wanna try to mix for the family's special attacks.

Beaut has a step-father in the form of Armor Superior, a Soviet-era mech who resides on Monster Island. Had a few ideas for their interactions which is alot more positive than Pestania with her mom.

One of the rules I established in Kaiju Dayz was that Monsters would never have large versions of regular objects. Large structures fill roles such as cooling towers as cups, buildings used as mirrors/seats, helicopters for haircuts, etc.

How many trucks of shampoo and conditioner do you think it takes for Big Mama's hair to look so lush?
