It was clear for 45 minutes last night. I grabbed this view of the North America Nebula (NGC 7000) with the RedCat and ZWO ASI533MC Pro with triband filter.
I captured this view of the Needle Galaxy (NGC 4565) in Coma Berenices last night. Nikon D90 (ISO800, 37x5mins) on the StarWave 152 refractor with triband filter. NGC4565 is about 40 million ly away. Some of the background galaxies are 10 times further still!
Star death is beautiful! Messier 27 (the Dumbbell Nebula) in Vulpecula. Nikon D90, 21x3 mins, ISO800 on the Meade LX10 8 inch. If you look closely you can see the central star...soon to become a white dwarf! #astronomy #Astrophotography #Northumberland
