Day 566: Nemuri is pretty much finished. I think I like this process so far. Even though I'm still not any faster/efficient with it, it somehow feels easier to make progress.

Tomorrow, it's flower time. All day. Fun. 🙃

Day 565: It's coming along, surprisingly better than I'd anticipated. Not sure if I'll leave the socks as-is, or try to make them look thicker. Will probably finish rendering Nemuri tomorrow, then learn how to draw flowers on a Friday/Saturday streaming session.

Day 563: I watched some of @\illustratoreri's stream today and was inspired to try abandoning lineart and just go for colors/shapes. So far I'm liking it. I always color/render over my lineart anyway, so why not do it at an earlier step? Bonus face close-up.

Day 562: Outfit candidates. I think I like the first one most (black skirt, black lace), but tried to come up with several that look okay. Interesting how outfits and composition are strongly related. I should study more fashion.

Day 561: Probably going with something like this. It took way too much effort to even get this far 🥲. I rarely draw Nemuri, so this is a good chance to give her some time in the spotlight. No idea what I'm doing for her overall outfit yet, but her socks are non-negotiable.

Day 557: After figure drawing warm ups I *tried* to do a quick color rough from a reference. The sketch/lines look okay, so there's definitely a good foundation, I just have to keep working on/studying color choices.

Also, I now know how to do a basic stream!

Day 556: I don't know what's wrong, I'm just pathetically slow to draw anything right now.

Day 555: Rough lineart and blocking in some colors. Getting to this point is something I should be able to do much quicker, but I'm not in a super good mood for drawing today, so it took some time. Anyway, it looks good as a small thumbnail, so I'm probably on the right track.

Day 552: testing out a different process. I don't know that I like it so far.
